The Edinburgh Festival Fringe is the world’s biggest performing arts festival… with more than 2,000 shows a day during almost the entire month of August. Whether or not you’ve been here before, it can be difficult to know where to start.
So we’re inviting you to come out for an evening exploring the Fringe with us on Thursday the 21st of August 2025.
During the evening we’ll:
- See some of the best, weirdest shows we could find
- Drop by some of our favourite subterranean, haunted pubs
- Have at least one visceral arthouse immersive experience
- Take in street performers on the Royal Mile
- Try some of the iconic foodstuffs for which Edinburgh is known
- Optionally stay up until 01:00 for some really weird free shows
As you probably already know, our preference is for shows that are weird, experimental, anarchic and fun – all things that characterise the Festival. We’re less interested in high-profile comics who you can see on television, or straightforward theatre shows that you can see elsewhere throughout the year.
You’ll be part of a very small group of like-minded people, all of whom are up for exploring, experiencing, and getting the most out of the Fringe.
